"⭐️ 1 star — Overpriced and Dishonest Practices “Like a good neighbor, we really don’t care.” – State Farm (through Eli Leal’s office) I want to correct something from the owner’s reply to my previous review: The claim that I “failed to provide documentation” is completely false. Every document they asked for was provided. At no point was I ever told anything was missing. That excuse simply isn’t based in truth. I was quoted one price, then the premium was changed later without a clear explanation. When I reached out for answers, the communication stopped. Yet this office responds immediately to defend themselves publicly — just not when a customer needs help solving the issue. That contrast speaks for itself. Because of this experience, we have removed all of our policies from this agency — home, auto, business insurance, and we will no longer use State Farm for loans either. We’d rather work with a company that values honesty, accountability, and customer trust instead of rewriting the story after the fact. If you’re considering this agency, pay very close attention to your quotes, follow-up communication, and any changes that appear later. My experience did not match the positive picture shown here."

"Thank you for taking the time to continually share your feedback. I sincerely apologize for the confusion and any inconvenience you experienced with your policy. But the reason the premium could not be honored was because you failed to provide the documentation needed to receive the quoted premium. You say we have a history of bait and switch tactics, but you don't provide any examples. If this is to be true, we not have not heard anything. In fact, you indicated you were referred to our agency by family members. We have successfully provided good neighbor service for over 40 years. And with the industry, company and community awards we've obtained, that would not have been possible if we did the tactics, you claim we do. We are here to continue to be an asset to the industry and community for years to come. We wish you the best in your endeavors. Thank you again for your understanding, and we hope to have the chance to serve you better in the future."

"Not a great experience at this point, hopefully things improve. I would not recommend working with James until he gets more training. From what I experienced it seems he either doesn't know what he's doing or is unethical or both. Added a feature to insurance that I was EMPHATIC I didn't want (the drive safe app) and when I asked to take the feature I was EMPHATIC I didn't want to begin with off of the policy as I kept getting annoying notifications about it, I was told the price would go up even more than the already high price that we were under an apparently meaningless contract for. The owner doesn't really seem to care about the customers experience either. He started off with a totally dismissive attitude when I called and then eventually got somewhat better and offered a $25 gift card for what will cost me a lot more than that over the next 6 months. The only professional person at this place that I communicated with was the lady that answers the phones."
